CSI Rhode Island The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is a national association of more than 10,000 volunteers, including specifiers, architects, engineers, contractors, facility managers, product representatives, manufacturers, owners and others who are experts in building construction and the materials used therein. The Rhode Island Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute is one of 140 chapters around the country. The Rhowdie Rhodies, from the smallest state in the country, have a proud history of being one of the most active (and most fun) in the Institute. The Chapter celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015. The chapter is a member of the Northeast Region, comprised of the members in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and northern New Jersey. There are 15 local Chapters within the Region.
